Reverie: Landscapes by André Brasilier

Opera Gallery Hong Kong is honoured to present Reverie: Landscapes by André Brasilier. A selection of over 20 paintings will take us into the lyrical realm of romance created by the French painter, populated by spirited horses, enchanted forests, classical and jazz music, candied snowfall and pensive women lit by moonlight. Through Brasilier's paintings, we can immerse ourselves in a timeless and fleeting moment, in which human beings live in harmony with nature, which is even more precious during these difficult times.

Contrasting Confluences

Whitestone is thrilled to present the group exhibition Contrasting Confluences, featuring French paintings by Clément Denis, Fabien Verschaere and Japanese artist Karen Shiozawa. This exhibition showcases a selection of acrylic and watercolour on paper, spanning a variety of approaches from abstraction to figuration. Each offers nuanced ways of looking, interpreting, and representing the world through highly subjective forms, questioning the value of symbols and the identity that a self-image can convey in the eyes of others.

The Ink・Voyageurs

Lu Jun and Tan Jian Chung both are obsessed with exploring the innovation of Chinese ink and wash. They combine traditional concepts and techniques, incorporate Western abstract painting concepts, break through the traditional forms and compositions, and allow the contrast of colour inks and gradations to produce different visual images. In search of life and forms of nature in this kaleidoscopic world, both artists present their own views on France and nature with ink.
