Introduction

“A paper plane sails off and never returned

If I get another chance
To embrace your smile once again
I long to remember…”

Like water, we constantly change and flow, even when everything crashes down like a flood and we crave for a moment to breathe. Through the waves of life, how do we learn to let go?

✈️

Employing distinguished French acting movement coach Jacques Lecoq's approach to acting, the work adapts this methodology to a Contemporary dance context. I have experienced Jacques Lecoq's technique from Sean Curran, co-artistic director of Theatre du Pif. He inspired me with another perspective on utilising the body and movement; simple yet powerful, even without words.

I hope you leave the theatre feeling loved, a sensation to let go.
