From Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 to Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, be ready for an uncustomary orchestral programme wittily compiled by David Greilsammer, the music director of Geneva Camerata. Featuring Tchaikovsky Competition winner, the brillant Viktoria Mullova, the audience will hear her virtuosic techniques as well as matchless interpretative subtlety on Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor Op. 64. This will surely be one of the most exciting concerts of the year, with more originality brought by Jonathan Keren’s composition based on Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess (HK premiere), and the orchestral arrangement of Debussy’s Fireworks (Asia premiere).
Performance will be followed by a sharing session with the artists.
