Grieve in elegance – the artists want to convey the message that we should learn how to embrace the grieve but also admire the beauty of it. In the setting, the score of the piano as the canva; the animation as the paints and ink- together they make shapes of the sadness, which is fermented constantly with delicacy in the recital. Together the music and animation creates a spectacularly crafted scene.
French music has been an important part in the piano literature. But due to various reasons including the discrepancy of different aesthetics, it is not commonly recognized and loved as German music does in Hong Kong’s classical music circle. Hence, this project aims to arouse the public with the beauty of French music, and cultivate the aesthetic taste of music students and the multitude.
