Cathédrales de Bambous – géopoétique d’une ville invisible is a wandering through a phantasmal Hong-Kong, a city one has never seen this way, and yet… each arcade, each arabesque looks familiar to us.
This original experience of mixing photography and French poetry is presented in a limited-edition Art Book, a photographic exhibition and poetry reading.
The opening ceremony will feature a special “Alchimie du Verbe” an event combining poetry reading and wine tasting with Marjolaine Roblette Geres.
Additional events and photo exhibits will take place in different locations in Hong Kong during the French May – stay tuned!

Matthieu, French and philosophy teacher, is passionate about poetry and literature. He has been giving private lessons in Hong Kong since 2015 via “Sauvés pour le Bac” and “Sauvés pour la Philo”. He also created the cultural platform “Sauvés par le Kong”: www.sauvesparlekong.com He organizes every year the literary invention contest “Sauvés par la Poésie” as well as “Alchimie du Verbe“, a poetry reading evening where you can taste good wines with his friend and oenologist Marjolaine Roblette Geres.
Cyrille has been passionate about photography since the day he got the family SLR camera at the age of 7. Since then, his passion has never let him go, even though he has not made it his primary profession. To be free of his photographic and graphic choices is also not to be dependent on them. In Hong Kong, he has been following his predecessors and preceded his successors by walking the streets and mountain paths, looking up and down, staring at life as it unfolds. His photos are gathered on his website Coiffure pour Ames: www.cyrillebellier.com
