Opening reception on 4th May 2026, by invited only.
Film Festival hold from 5th May to 5th June.
5 years ago, French film director and cinema teacher Iv Charbonneau-Ching created the Sustainable
Development Film Festival, in order to help the students of the French International School of Hong Kong to engage in
Sustainable Development actions through filmmaking. The Festival has now become international, with many schools in Hong Kong and
in Asia participating by sending films in different categories : Planet, Peace, Social issues and Impact. It
gives them an opportunity to express their voice and to become change makers, just as the patron of the Festival, Melati Wijsen. All
the films are accessible through the website of the festival, and the best ones will be awarded in dedicated ceremonies.
