The Met : Live in HD 2019
The MET : Live in HD 2019 season brings you three French operas this year! Star duo Elīna Garanča and Roberto Alagna open the season in the title roles of a brand new production of Saint-Saëns’s biblical epic Samson et Dalila. Clémentine Margaine will reprise her remarkable portrayal of opera’s ultimate seductress in Bizet’s Carmen. Yannick Nézet-Séguin leads Isabel Leonard and Karita Mattila in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites – a devastating story of faith and martyrdom.
