Three world-renowned musicians play intimate music from the first half of the 18th century in his unique concert.

Swiss-French flautist EMMANUEL PAHUD is one of today's most exciting and adventurous musicians. Born in Geneva in 1970, he studied music from the age of six, graduating in 1990 with the Premier Prix from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, and at the age of 22 being appointed Principal Flute of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Emmanuel is widely regarded as the finest solo flute player performing today and was named "Instrumentalist of the Year 1997" at the prestigious Victoires de la Musique award ceremony in Paris.

TREVOR PINNOCK has long been known as one of the world's finest harpsichordists and specialists in the field of bringing Early Music to life through recreating the performance styles of the 18th century. In 1973, he formed the English Concert, which was for thirty years under his leadership one of the most important groups of musicians to develop the art of playing on instruments that were based on surviving instruments from the early 18th century.

JONATHAN MANSON is a cellist and viola da gamba player with a great international reputation on both instruments, playing as principal cello with the Amsterdam Baroque orchestra and as a viol player in the esteemed consort of viols Phantasm.
