Anders J. Dahlin
The harpsichordist and conductor Emmanuelle Haïm is regularly invited to conduct the world’s great orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2000, she founded her own ensemble, Le Concert d’Astrée, a group of musicians specialising in Baroque music, with which she has rapidly achieved success. The ensemble has been resident at the Opéra de Lille since 2004 and gives numerous operas and concerts there every season, and also performs throughout France (Opéra National du Rhin, Opéra de Dijon, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Opéra de Paris) and internationally (Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Barbican Centre, London, the Lincoln Center, New York, Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Salzburg Festival, and the Philharmonie, Berlin).
About Anders J. Dahlin
In recent years, tenor Anders J. Dahlin has become one of the leading interpreters of early French baroque music, working with conductors such as Christophe Rousset, Hervé Niquet, William Christie, Philippe Herrweghe, Robert King, Stephen Layton, Christoph Spering and Roy Goodman.
